Volunteer Opportunities

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

Tour Guides: Lead engaging tours of the Birthplace Home and share fascinating stories about Edison's life and inventions.
Visitor Services Associate: Assist visitors in the Don Gfell Education Center, helping them interact with exhibits and learn about Edison's innovations.
Special Events Assistants: Help with set-up, registration, and other tasks at museum events, lectures, and workshops.
Collections Care: Assist with cataloging, organizing, and preserving artifacts in our collection.
Gardening/Grounds Maintenance: Help keep our grounds beautiful by assisting with weeding, planting, and other gardening tasks.
